I was born in northern Indiana, raised in central Indiana, and attended college in southern Indiana. After graduation I promptly moved to New York City.
I love to create things on and off the web. I have been through (and still engage in) the entire spectrum of crafts and hobbies—painting, drawing, sewing, jewelry making, sculpture, animation, and more. I also love to sing! My former band’s album is still available online.
I currently live in Brooklyn with my boyfriend Alex, lots of little plants, a fish named John Quincy Adams, and a cat named Sadie.
I graduated from Indiana University in 2007 with a B.A. in Telecommunications (concentration in Media and Design) and a minor in Fine Arts. I started doing freelance web design while I was still a student, and continued once I left Indiana.
I am currently a member of a four-person web team at The Institute for International Research in busy midtown Manhattan.
